Ajay Goyal is an international entrepreneur, media professional, author, and institutional leader whose life and work reflect a rare combination of intellectual depth, risk-taking, and global execution. Born and educated in Kurukshetra, India, Ajay Goyal’s early grounding in philosophy, history, and engineering would go on to define both his worldview and his professional journey. A mechanical engineer by education, he also excelled in oratory and public speaking, winning numerous awards. Moving to Delhi after graduation, he soon became an anchor on DD Metro, Indian state television, where he hosted dozens of cultural shows and interviews.

His early professional years took him beyond India into Russia and Europe at a time of immense geopolitical and economic transformation. In Moscow, he emerged as a pioneering figure in cross-border media and business. As the founder of The Russia Journal, an English-language publication based in Washington, D.C., and Moscow, he built a respected media platform that connected international investors, policymakers, and thinkers with Russia’s evolving landscape. He also created eight dot-com ventures that became leaders in their respective spheres in Eastern Europe.

Parallel to his media success, Ajay Goyal built a reputation as an entrepreneur capable of navigating complex markets and creating institutions from the ground up. From early technology ventures linking India and Russia to senior leadership roles in financial institutions, his work has spanned multiple sectors—technology, banking, media, renewable energy, and real estate—across countries including Russia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Cyprus, the United States, and India.

He is also an investor and currently serves as Trustee and Director General of The Kurukshetra Trust and the Global Resource Forum, addressing issues of energy security and investment for Viksit Bharat in an era of significant geopolitical turbulence and insecurity.
